The 3 Skincare Products You Need To Use For Glowing Skin

Advice From Helen Taylor Aesthetics In Rugby About Skin Care Products That You Need To Use

Have you ever looked at your beauty cabinet and thought ‘hmm, it’s getting a bit over crowded in there..’. I have. And I thoroughly enjoyed decluttering it!

Why was this so enjoyable? 1) I felt ‘free’ again, like I do when I do any sort of decluttering, 2) I could rethink my skincare routine and start afresh again.

I don’t know about you, but it’s so easy to become overwhelmed when you decide to invest in your skincare routine. There’s this product for this problem, and that product for that problem. It can be easy to buy too many products and then have no idea how you’re supposed to use them!

Today I want to take the stress out of skincare, and share with you my top 3 products that your skin is going to thank you for..

1. Glycolic Acid Cleanser.

I love love love a good Glycolic Acid Cleanser, as it really gets to the heart of things and brightens  and decelerates the ageing process in one fell swoop. This is a MUST to add to any skincare routine.

What it does:  Glycolic Acid destroys the ‘cement’  that holds your dead skin cells together. This means that this one product not only cleanses, it exfoliates at the same time too.  It’s great for all skin types, and works wonders on blemishes, pigmentation and fine lines and wrinkles.

If there was one product that I would start off suggesting that somebody on a budget, slot into their routine, this would be it because it works on so many areas. Replace your usual cleanser with a glycolic acid cleanser and your skin really will thank you!

2. A Vitamin C Serum.

I honestly couldn’t survive without a Vitamin C Serum, as it simply makes me look ‘alive’ again. Great for the morning after the night before, Vitamin C should be in every woman’s bathroom cabinet.

What it does:  Vitamin C is brilliant at pepping up tired, and uneven skins, working wonders on dullness, pigmentation, dark circles, fine lines and then some! When slotted into your daily routine, you will notice a brighter, firmer, smoother and clearer looking face staring back at you in the mirror.

But that’s not the main reason why I love Vitamin C – it also works to protect your skin at a cellular level and is a powerful antioxidant, that protects your skin from pollution and free radicals, therefore when used in conjunction with a good SPF makes for a first class ally in the anti ageing tool kit. Another great must have to incorporate into your skincare routine.

3. A Good SPF

SPFs are not just for sunny days and holidays. We all know that we should be using one daily. But for a lot of us, we have horrible memories of SPFs that were thick, gloopy and just didn’t sit well as a base for makeup. Thankfully today, the modern day SPF products are less oily, and give a great base for makeup.

Investing in an SPF no matter what your age, will really yield dramatic changes in the condition and quality of your skin. Not only will it reduce discolouration and pigmentation caused by the suns rays, it will also slow down the damage caused by UVA/UVB exposure and will prevent premature ageing.

So, there you have it. Adding these three products into your skincare routine can be done super easily, or you could even ditch the masses of products that you probably have cluttering up your bathroom cabinet and buy just these three items. Use them consistently for a 3 month period and let me know how it works for you.

Psssst: By the way, if you love the sound of these products but don’t know where to start, or which brand to turn to… I have some exciting news to announce very soon so keep your eyes peeled over on Facebook!

Have a wonderful week and I will speak to you again soon,

Helen Signature
