Local anaesthetic is applied to the skin to numb the area, before around 10 micro-fine needles are inserted into the area, ready to work their magic. These are then gently withdrawn, leaving the threads in place.
Taking around 10 minutes per treated area, you shouldn’t feel any discomfort as the needles are so fine. In fact, there won’t be any signs that you’ve had anything done.
For up to 24 hours after, you should feel some sensitivity, with the results lasting two to three years. Improving gradually over three to six months, results will be visible immediately, too.
You can be back to work almost immediately and you’ll be fully recovered in terms of any sensitivity within seven days. Please note: there is a small risk of bruising, infection and swelling.
